Here it is one of my assignment in college. So my lecterur give us task to re-design money apperances as much we like. The goal is to make new money design which different from normal money.  Any kind of drawing, design, or illustration is fine, as long as the theme is Indonesia / Nusantara.

So i took Batak Culture as my inspiration. From Batak traditional Home decoration.
 

The creature-like face in my design represent Batak traditional Home decoration that called "Gorga". Gorga is art of decorating home including painting and sculpture.

Most of Gorga represent the guardian spirit that protect the house from danger and threat. The guardian spirit sometimes looked like human, animals, or maybe mixed.
